Chicago! It’s a wonderful bar!

It’s been a busy week! There were a bunch of big corporate conferences being held at Resorts World here in Vegas, which means there were a lot of business people in from out of town, which means I had a lot more new cases!  That’s right, old Spike had a lot of messes to clean up, both figuratively and in at least one case, quite literally. 

On this week’s Bar Exam, we’re taking a look at Chicago Brewing Company (2201 S. Fort Apache Road). Chicago’s a charming little suburban oasis with great atmosphere and a friendly staff (ask for Caroline). Check out Happy Hour from 3 p.m. — 6 p.m. for some great deals. Open 24 hours, this place will come in handy when I’m up all night analyzing a case and need to blow off some steam. I recommend the Hardway IPA. At 6.9% it has an extra kick that really helps when you’ve seen the things that I have lately! It’s my favorite, but there’s a lot to choose from.
